EGL_EXT_device_query extension is not supported

Currently getting this message when running up mapd_server /var/lib/mapd. The GPU is a 680 GTX in a Mac Pro with CentOS 7 installed. Just a test machine to better understand mapd. Is there anyway round this for Backend Rendering or is it a driver or hardware limitation?

Could you upgrade to the latest for centos 7 (375.51) and give it another try, the EGL stuff is fairly new.

Happy to do this. Do have an approach for this on CentOS 7? The current driver was installed as part of the cuda-drivers install. Thanks.

Hi

If you did a network install (dcumented here https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads) it should automatically update to 375.51 with a yum update as that is the current release driver for Centos 7.

I did a local install via the .rpm. I’ll remember that for the next build. Anyway round it for the local install?

You could uninstall the current rpm(local) and then reinstall the network version rpm(network) so it always stays up to date.
