hello,
I’m trying some queries but so many are not supported can anyone provide the supported queries document

#2

Hi @asha,

Have you seen this? https://www.mapd.com/docs/latest/mapd-core-guide/dml/

#3

hi @owenrh :slightly_smiling_face:
Yeah, I noticed that document but is mapd supports array ?? if yes can anyone give an example of array storing in mapd.

#4

Hi

Documentation is here

hidden away in the text

array: a two-character string consisting of the start and end characters surrounding an array.
The default is {}.
For example, data to be inserted into a table with a string array in the second column
(e.g. BOOLEAN, STRING[], INTEGER) can be written as true,{value1,value2,value3},3.

translating…

A table defined like this:

CREATE TABLE MYTABLE (B1 BOOLEAN, STR_ARR TEXT[], I1 int);

Would expect an input file that looks like this for a COPY FROM statement

true,{v1,v2,v3},10
false,{a1,a2,a3,a4,a5},27
true,{b3},18

Arrays cannot currently be populated with an INSERT statement

Actually i want to store array of integers in mapd

#10

the insertion on array isnt supported with insert statement; you have to create a file and insert data with copy command (maybe is wirking with streamInsert utility too)

Hi,

Sorry, misplaced the [] while typing.

fixed in original message
