I’d like to create a table out of 2 different tables if they have similar values in a column.
The command i’m using just to check if values are similar is pretty straight forward, so I’m not sure why’s it’s not working.
to check: select A.*, B.thing from TableA A, TableB B where A.uid = B.uid
to create table: create table TableC as (above statement)
I know for a fact that there are multiple uid’s in both tables that are alike, however, when I run the above command I get a query of only one row, or multiple rows with the same uid (so only 1 or 2 distinct uids)
I thought it was the fact that uid was a TEXT ENCODING DICT (32) type but then made new tables to test the queries (2 TEXT v 2 TEXT ENCODING DICT (32)) and both of them worked as expected.
Any help would be awesome
