Please help us reproduce this. Could you share the ddl and query details?

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for responding back to the query.
I wont be able to share the exact query as its confidential but I can provide a similar query which is on the same lines.

SELECT a.reporting_date,
dv01,
dv02,
dv03,
col1,
col2,
col3,
col4,
col5,
col6,
col7,
col8,
col9,
count(1) rolling_level_counts,
avg(case when errored_date <= a.reporting_date AND error_code = ‘ERR1’ OR error_code = ‘ERR1’ OR error_code = ‘ERR1’ then 1 else 0 end) err_fr,
sum(case when errored_date <= a.reporting_date AND error_code = ‘ERR1’ OR error_code = ‘ERR1’ OR error_code = ‘ERR1’ then 1 else 0 end) all_fails
FROM list_of_dates a join main_table b on b.rtu_date <= a.reporting_date
group by 1, dv01, dv02, dv03, col1, col2, col3, col4, col5, col6, col7, col8, col9

list_of_dates has only one column of date type & will have a list of dates. We had 15 unique dates in this table.
 main_table has 25 columns and has approximately 4 million data which is spread across 15 days.
 date1 has the highest number of rows when compared with all other days.
 The number of rows reduces ( when compared with the date1 ) as we proceed further with the dates.

 Eg :
 date1 has around 1 Million rows.
 date2 has around 300K rows.
 date3 has around 400K rows
 ....
 and so on.

 The mapd.conf file has the following entries only :
 port = 9091
 http-port = 9090
 data = "/var/lib/mapd/data"
 null-div-by-zero = true

[web]
port = 9092
frontend = "/opt/mapd/frontend"

Feel free to let me know if you need further details.
